Techegic is operated by Egic Holdings, a sole trader business registered in Portugal. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We collect only what we need to deliver the newsletter and process payments. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Techegic is a career intelligence newsletter published by Egic Holdings, operated by Justin Peterson, based in Portugal. We operate two domains: techegic.com (newsletter and Premium subscription) and techegichq.com (career audit, toolkit, and member resources).
For data protection purposes, Egic Holdings is the data controller for all personal data collected through our websites and newsletter. Contact details are in Section 10.

We do not collect sensitive personal data — no health information, no financial account details beyond what Stripe requires for payment processing, no government IDs.

All third-party processors are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Techegic is operated from Portugal (EU). Some of our third-party service providers — including Beehiiv, Stripe, and GitHub — are based in the United States. Data transferred to these providers is subject to standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR Article 46.
By subscribing to Techegic or purchasing a product, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries outside the EU/EEA.

We aim to respond to all data requests within 30 days. For unsubscribe requests, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Techegic email — this is the fastest method and takes effect immediately.

Material changes — changes that affect how we use your data in a significant way — will be communicated via the newsletter. Continued use of Techegic after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
